LIFE PROCESSES are certain process that are performed by a living organism to survive on this planet.

The various life processes that are performed by living organisms are :-

● Nutrition
● Respiration
● Transportation
● Excretion

The living organisms obtain their food by the life process NUTRITION.

IN PLANTS :-

Plants are autotrophs and thus make their own food by a process called PHOTOSYNTHESIS.
It us a process by the virtue of which plants prepare their food using carbon dioxide, water and sunlight.

IN HUMAN BEINGS :-

Human beings are Heterotrophs and thus depend on plants or other animals for food.
Human beings are holozoic in nature. and thus obtain their food through mouth. The food we eat is very complex in nature and contains many nutrients likes proteins, carbohydrates, fats etc. in complex form. These complex nutrients are broken into simpler forms with the help if digestive enzymes in our body.
