Lipid are storage compounds, triglycerides serve as reserve energy of the body.although the term lipid is sometimes used as a synonym for fats.Fats are subgroup of lipids called triglycerides. In other words we can say that organic molecule of biological origin that is insoluble in water and soluble in nonpolar solvants. Is it helps?????
