WHAT ARE LOGARITHMS AND WHERE ARE THEY APPLIED IN PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS. ALSO PLS TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOG & LN. AS IN THE CALCULATORS.
THE ONE WHO WILL ANSWER ME NICELY, I WILL MARK HIM/HER THE BRAINLIEST.

Logarithms are used to make long and complicated calculations easy....

Consider 3⁴= 81 this is exponential representation of numbers 3 4 and 81... this can be written as log3⁸¹= 4( read as: logarithm of 81 at base 3 is 4) in logarithmic form

DEFINITION: if a,b,c are 3 real numbers and a is not equal to 1 and a to power b is c the their logarithmic form is log sc = b

In chemistry logs are used to find pH of substances

In calculators the base of LOG is 10 but of LN (natural logarithms) is e ( Napier constant = 2.71828)

Hope it helps you out
