Objects which produce light are known as luminous object. Like fire and sun . Even some animals like fireflies are luminous as they produce light and emit it by some chemical reactions

luminous objects are the objects which have their own source of of energy. sun is also a luminance object because it also emits light as a result of fusion of hudrogen objects.
