LYSOSOMES ARE THE SPECIAL ORGANELLES WHICH CONTAINS DESTRUCTIVE ENZYMES IN THEM

THEY INVOLVE IN INTRACELLULAR DIGESTION

THEY ARE CONTAINED IN ALL ANIMAL CELLS

WHEN TOXIC CHEMICAL ENTERS THE CELL , THE LYSOSOMES BURST AND DESTROY THE CELL SO THAT THE CHEMICAL IS NOT SPREAD TO OTHER CELLS

HENCE THEY ARE KNOWN AS SUICIDAL BAGS OF THE CELL

Lysosomes help to keep the cell clean by digesting any foreign materials entering the cell, like bacteria or food, and old organelles die-up in the lysosomes, which split them up into tiny pieces. Lysosomes are able to do this as they have powerful digestive enzymes able of spitting down all organic material. During the disturbance in cellular metabolism, as an example, when cell becomes damaged, lysosomes may burst and the enzymes digest their own cell, Hence, lysosomes are also called "suicide bags".
