- Mass Communication
- Personal Communication is a process of transmitting messages between 2 people.
- It includes Postal letters & Mobile phones.
- Postal letters come under Mail channels while Mobile phones come under Telecommunication.
Mail channels in India -
'India Post' is the largest Postal Network in the world.
It handles Parcels & Personal letters.
It is divided into -
First Class Mail:
It consists of postal cards & envelopes that are airlifted between stations.
Second Class Mail:
It includes Book packets, Newspapers & Magazines that are transported by Land and Water Transport.
Six Mail Channels:
Six Mail Channels include Rajdhani channel, Metro channel, Green channel, Bussiness channel, Bulk Mail channel, Periodical channel. These facilitate quick delivery of mails between large towns and cities.
