What are major divisions of plantae? What is the basis of these divisions?

The major division of plants are Thallophyta, Bryophayta, and Pteridophyta. These three divisions are based on presence of vascular tissue and body differentiation. Under Pteridophyta comes gymnosperms and angiosperms. These are divided on the basis of presence of seeds.
