14. Explain the term “Coalition Government.”

ans:-A coalition government is a form of government in which political parties cooperate, reducing the dominance of any one party within that "coalition". The usual reason for this arrangement is so that no party on its own can achieve a majority in the election.

15. Write a brief note on the procedure for Impeachment of the President.

ans:- Impeachment is the process by which a legislative body levels charges against a government official. Impeachment does not in itself remove the official definitively from office; it is similar to an indictment in criminal law, and thus it is essentially the statement of charges against the official. In some countries, the impeached official is provisionally removed, while in others, they remain in office during the trial. An impeached official must face the possibility of conviction — in many jurisdictions, by another legislative vote — and a judgment that convicts the official on the articles of impeachment generally entails the official's definitive removal from office.Because impeachment and conviction of officials involve an overturning of the normal constitutional procedures by which individuals achieve high office (election, ratification, or appointment) and because it generally requires a supermajority, they are usually reserved for those deemed to have committed serious abuses of their office.[1] In the United States, for example, impeachment at the federal level is limited to those who may have committed "Treason, Bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors".

2)Impeachment exists under constitutional law in many countries around the world, including Brazil, France, India, Ireland, the Philippines, Russia, South Korea, and the United States.

16. Why are the elections considered as an integral part of democracy? Explain.

ans:-Elections are very important in a democracy. The people have the power to elect their leader. Elections is a way of expressing the political views of the common man. Democracy is actually choosing the best person to govern the state by the votes of the people of the nation. It rules out the rule of one family, one person or one institution which is very important for the development of the people.

People always say that democracy is the rule of the majority but I disagree to this statement because then the majority will get a chance to over power and rule every system of the government at the same time the minority will be neglected from the development of the state which is not a positive sign of development and even if there is development this way then it will not be a complete development.

Democracy is the best form of government but it should be understood in its true spirit all the people should understand what democracy is.

ans:- I would choose to have a majority in the Lok Sabha as it is more powerful than the Rajya Sabha. Lok Sabha members are directly elected by the people. The leader of political party which is in majority in Lok Sabha will be appointed as prime minister which is most powerful person in the country.
