Manṣabdār: member of the imperial bureaucracy of the Mughal Empire in India. The manṣabdārs governed the empire and commanded its armies in the emperor's name. Though they were usually aristocrats, they did not form a feudal aristocracy, for neither the offices nor the estates that supported them were hereditary.
Mansab:The word mansab is of Arabic origin meaning rank or position. The system, hence, determined the rank of a government official and also other military generals.
Zamindars: Zamindars are those who used to collect the texes from the farmers. The main source of income of the Mughal Empire was tax on farm produce, and peasants paid taxes to headmen or local chieftains.
