Microbe or microorganism is the small living organism which lives in a body (host) as guest.

- Microbes cannot be seen through naked eye and can be viewed only through microscope. It is living all over the world living in water, air and soil.
- Examples: Bacteria, virus, algae, fungi and parasite.
- Most of microbes are good to other lives. Few dangerous microbes causing illness to humans and other lives are called as pathogens.
- Bacteria: a single cell microorganism. This one is eco-friendly. Only 1% of bacteria are pathogen which cause infection to humans.
- Virus: a sub microbial which is smaller than bacteria and infectious to all living organisms. It does not have nucleus. Microbial virus or its gene is used in health and industrial production.
- Parasites are organisms that transfer from one body to another eg: Plasmodium Parasite .
- Fungi and algae are not much infective like others.
