They are useful to us in many ways –

1) Aluminum : packaging, transport, etc.
2) Copper : electric cables, car radiators, etc.
3) Iron : iron pipes, magnets, etc.
4) Calcite : toothpaste, building, etc.
5) Feldspar : glass, ceramics, etc.
