 \underline{ \bf{Molecules} : }

When two or more atoms combines (bonded)together, they form a substance called molecules. They take part in Chemical reactions.

Molecules can be further divided into atoms and atoms into electrons, protons and neutrons.

A molecule is the smallest particle of a compound rajy has the physics and chemical properties of a compound.

Examples of Molecules :

i) Carbon dioxide is an example of molecule ,I.e CO2, here CO2 contains one carbon atom and two oxygen atoms. So it's an example of molecule.

ii) Water is also an example whose Chemical Formula is H2O, which contains two atoms of Hydrogen and one atom of oxygen, forming water molecule.
