MONOCOTS-the plants with seeds having just one cotyledon.They have adventious roots.And parallel venation of leaves...Eg.corn,wheat etc..
DICOT-the plants having seeds with two cotyledons.They have tap root system.And have reticulate venation of leaves...Eg. pea,gram etc...
