what are monocots different from dicots

Monocots differ from dicots in four distinct structural features: leaves, stems, roots and flowers. But, the differences start from the very beginning of the plant's life cycle: the seed. Within the seed lies the plant's embryo. Whereas monocots have one cotyledon (vein), dicots have two.

there were many characteristic they have different kind of roots stems flowers the difference between them is given in the Pig given below by me. I have a another pic but I fail to give you that also in the following table you can see four characteristics distinguish between them.
