National and International Resources

Explanation:

  • National Resources-It refers to  those resources which belong to the people of a particular nation.It can be also said as the resources belonging the people within the national boundaries.

The country has legal power in his hands  to claim even the  private property for public welfare. As,  all the minerals, water, forests, wildlife,etc. that are within the political boundaries and oceanic area  all belongs to the nation.

  • International resources -It refers to  the resources which are guided by the international institutions. The oceanic resources which lie  beyond 200 nautical miles of the exclusive economic zone belong to the open oceans . Open ocean means that  no country can utilize these resources without the permission of international institutions .
