The functional Unit of excretion in the kidney is a Nephrons.

These are the primary excretory organs eliminating nitrogenous wastes (chiefly urine) from the blood and throwing it out in the form of urine.

✔✔How it works??

➡ Nephrones consist of mainly two parts. They are :

1 - Glomerulus
2 - Tubules.

》 The renal artery brings the dirty blood to kidney which is attached to glomerulus and the glomerulus send back the pure blood through the renal vein.

》Mainly,

➡ The glomerulus filters our blood.
➡ The tubules returns needed substances to our blood and removes the wastes.

》And finally our blood is purified and the waste are converted to a yellowish coloures liquid which is also called as Urine.
