Wind is always seen blowing from high pressure belts to low pressure belts.

The course of direction taken by winds thus remains unchanged though they may change from one area to another, according to seasons.

Large parts of the world observe these kinds of winds, which flow in the same direction all through the year.

These types of winds are called permanent or prevailing winds.
