physical changes are the changes in which no new substance is formed and there is just a change in the physical properties of the substance. It is an reversible change.
for eg. stretching of a rubber band, melting of a candle etc.

chemical changes are the changes in which a new substance is formed and there are changes in the chemical properties of the substance. It is an irreversible change.
for eg. burning of paper, burning of a candle etc.
