the hormones or the chemicals secreted by a plant which help in their growth are known as plant hormomes.
Plant hormones like auxin, cytokinins , ethylene, and gibberellin promotes plant growth while some hormones like abscisic acid inhibits plant growth.
Auxins helps the plants cells to grow longer. cytokinins helps in cell division and cell enlargement.
Gibberellins also promotes plant growth and help in cell enlargement.
Abscisic acid promotes wilting of leaves.
