These are basically a long or large chain of monomers that join together to form a material named plastic which has a very low rate of Degradation or we can say a very high Half Life.
There are many advantages of plastics which are as follows:
- plastics are very light in weight hence they can be used in areas where the weight needs to be reduced but the strength needs to be the same.
- They can hold water without getting decomposed or rusted.
- they are bad conductors of electricity hence can be used in making of insulators.
