Polar dielectrics are those in which the possibilities of centre coinciding of positive and negative charge is zero (they dont coincide with each other becauseof shape) eg HCl and NH3. non polar where centre of both positive and negative coincide therfore Dipole moment of each molecule is Zero. they are symmetric.
