here's ur answer...

Prime numbers are said to be the numbers which can be divided by 1 and the number itself....it does not have any factor other than 1 and the number itself...

example: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11 and so on...

 number that can be divided exactly only by itself and 1, for example 7, 17 and 41
