A pronoun is a word that replaces a noun in a sentence. Instead of repeating a noun again and again , a pronoun is used.
Example :
I, me, he, she, herself, you, it, that, they, each, few, many, who, whoever, whose, someone, everybody, etc
Usage in a sentence :
Pratheek answered the question, and then Pratheek asked a question.
♠ In above sentence, the noun is repeated two times in the same sentence.
Let's see the same sentence using a pronoun :
Pratheek answered the question, and then he asked a question.
♦ Here (he) is the pronoun which replaced the noun.

A verb can be expressed as doing words or action words.
It can express a physical action, mental action and state of being
Examples of physical action :
to swim, to write, to ask, to eat, to sleep, etc
Examples of mental action :
to think, to guess, to consider, to know, to prefer, to forget, etc
Examples of state of being :
to be, to exist, to appear, to disappear, etc
Usage in a sentence :
Pratheek is writing
Arvind is playing
He prefered eating dal
♠ In the last sentence it contains physical and mental action verbs
