Question Tags are those tags or better to say phrase or group of words which when added to a statement usually at the end makes the assertive statement as an interrogative one.

The usage of question tags are basically classified into two ways that is nature of sentence and tense form.
• Nature of sentence ::
We have two categories here that is positive and negative .
- Positive question tags show the positive interrogation of the assertive statement . For example :- did you ?, do they ?, right ?, etc. Example :
- They are from America, right ?
- They aren't sportspersons, are they ?

- Present (be) type statement include the question tags with auxiliaries with ending letter as s/es, which shows the present tense. For example :- isn't she ?, is it ?, etc. Example :

- It isn't theirs, is it ?
