redox reactions are those reactions in which oxidation and reduction take place simultaneously

CuO +H2 ----- Cu + H2O

the substance which get oxygen is called the substance oxidized.

the substance which got reduced is called reduced substance.

the substance having oxygen is call oxidizing agent

the substance having reduced is called reducing agent.

Hey mates here is your answer_________....... ^_^. ^_^

Those chemical reactions in which oxidation and reduction take place with together are called redox reactions.

For example- CuO + H2 arrow Cu + H2O

CuO and Cu removal of O2.

The substance which gives oxygen for oxidation is called oxidising agent.

The substance which gives hydrogen for reduction is called reducing agent.
