A renewable resource is a natural resource which replenishes to overcome resource depletion caused by usage and consumption, either through biological reproduction or other naturally recurring processes ... 

Some examples of renewable energy sources are solar energy, wind energy,hydropower, geothermal energy, andbiomass energy. These types of energy sources are different from fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and natural gas.
