Gas exchange at respiration happens primarily through diffusion.

Diffusion a process where transport is driven by concentration gradient.

Blood low in oxygen concentration and high in carbon dioxide concentration undergoes gas exchange in lungs.

Air in lungs has higher concentration of oxygen than the oxygen-depleted blood and lower concentration of co2 in lungs.

Respiratory Fuel

Explanation:

  • Blood low in oxygen fixation and high in carbon dioxide focus experiences gas trade in lungs.
  • Air in lungs has higher centralization of oxygen than the oxygen-exhausted blood and lower convergence of co2 in lungs.
  • A respiratory surface is secured with flimsy, damp epithelial cells that permit oxygen and carbon dioxide to trade.
  • Those gases can possibly cross cell layers when they are broken down in water or a watery arrangement, accordingly respiratory surfaces must be soggy.
  • Glycolysis, the citrus extract cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation. oxygen water glucose are the 3 essential necessities of breath.
