Rhizobium is a genus of Gram-negative soil bacteria that fix nitrogen. Rhizobium species form an endosymbiotic nitrogen-fixing association with roots of legumes and Parasponia

Rhizobium bacteria are the symbiotic bacteria which share their relationship with leguminous plant. It convert atmospheric Nitrogen into soluble form which is taken by the plants to make protine while the leguminous plant provide shelter and water to bacteria... In general, they are Gram-negative, motile, non-sporulating rods.
For example :--diazotrophs, Fabaceae.
