The writer of the poem telvision is Ronald Dahl . He suggests the no one must ever watch the idiot box called television . According to him , television is of no use. He says that watching TV kills the imagination of a child.I partially agree with his views. Watching TV increases our thinking .
It depends on us that how much we watch TV and what we watch on TV.
Nothing is totally right or wrong. It just depends upon us that how we use it. we can make it boon or curse indeed!

Ronald Dahl says through this poem says a television fills children's mind with ghastly junk. The child loses its ability to think. Television colds their mind. They become unable to differentiate between real and fake world. The whole day they do nothing but just sit and stareand sit. The children only sees as they loses their ability to think.
For all these reasons they poet goes against television. And I firmly agree with the poet's view.
The right solution according to the poet is do not install tv in your home or rather throw it away. In place of a tv it is better to install a bookshelf which will immensely help the children.
