Sodium carbonate = Na2 Co3
mass of sodium = 23u
mass of carbon = 12 u
mass of oxygen = 16 u
Now, total mass of Na2Co3 = 2(23)+ 12 +3(16)
= 46+12+48
= 106 u
mass of sodium = 23u
mass of carbon = 12 u
mass of oxygen = 16 u
Now, total mass of Na2Co3 = 2(23)+ 12 +3(16)
= 46+12+48
= 106 u

AS WE KNOW THAT , THE CHEMICAL FORMULA FOR SODIUM CARBONATE IS ...
Na 2 CO3...
THEREFORE , THE FORMULA MASS UNIT , i.e, THE SUM OF THE MASSES OF ALL THE ELEMENTS PRESENT IN SODIUM CARBONATE WOULD BE ...
MASS OF SODIUM = 27u
MASS OF CARBON = 12u
MASS OF OXYGEN = 16u
THEREFORE ....
23 × 2 + 12 + 16 × 3
= 46 + 12 + 48
= 106 u
