ROLE OF STOMACH IN DIGESTION:
After the food enters into the foodpipe then the food particles goes into the stomach. The stomach contains mucus, HCL and pepsin.
The pepsin is the protein digesting enzyme which digest the protein , the HCL facilities the action of pepsin and the mucus present in our stomach protects our stomach from the acid content present in it. After this process through the spincher muscle the food enters the small intestine.
