kidney has a major role to play in excretion ... kidney contains nephrons..... Malpighian body.... glomerules... etc which performs excretion..
The Excretory system is responsible for the elimination of wastes produced by homeostasis. There are several parts of the body that are involved in this process, such as sweat glands, the liver, the lungs and the kidney system. ... The renal pelvis takes urine away from the kidney via the ureter.

Heya user!!!!!
--------------------------------------------------------

Good morning!!!!!!
--------------------------------------------------------

Each kidney is made up of a large number of excretory units called nephrons. The nephron has a cup shaped bag at its upper end which is called Bowman's capsule. The lower end of it is called a table. The Bowman's capsule and rubble together makes a nephron. The Bowman's capsule contains a bundle of blood capillaries called glomerulus.

The dirty blood containing waste like urea (brought by renal artery) enters the glomerulus. The glomerulus filters this blood. During filtration, the substances like glucose, amino acids, salts, water, and urea etc.present in blood pass into Bowman's capsule and then enter the tubules of nephron. During filtration, the useful substances are re absorbed by the blood capillaries. Only the waste substances, urea and excess water remain behind in the tubules. The liquid left behind is the urine. The bathroom carries this urine into into the collecting duct of the kidney from where it is carried to ureter. From here, it passes to urinary bladder. Ultimately it passes through ureter............

Hope this helps!!!!!
