I assume you mean "prashn nirman" or question-making.

Basically,

1) If the word to be changed is a noun, like "ram" then you will always use "kim". For example, "ramah pathati" will become "kah pathati?" Remember, always use the appropriate vibhakti.

2) If the word to be changed is an adjective, then use "kidrisham", i.e. "ramah uchah asti" will become "ramah kidrishah asti?" Again, use the appropriate vibhakti.

3) If the word to be changed is an adverb, then use "katham".

4) If the word to be changed is a time, use "kada".

5) If the word to be changed is a location, use a roop of "kutr" (where).
