Salmandars are a type of Amphibian animals.
Salmandars have bodies that are slender. They have long tails and a short nose. Like lizards they can grow back lost parts. They have four toes in front limb and five at back.
Interesting facts-
Mudpuppies, are the only Salmandars who make a squeaky sound reminding bark of dogs. They are 27cm long
Female Salmandars have way to understand their own eggs even if they are mixed with others.
This is found only in Mexico. Unlike other Salmandars, it lives only on water.
