Eclipses takes place when one heavenly body such as a moon or planet moves into the shadow of another heavenly body.It is of two types: Lunar eclipse or Solar eclipse. A lunar eclipse occurs when Earth comes between the Moon and the Sun, due to which earth's shadow obscures the moon or a portion of it. Whereas Solar eclipse occurs when the Moon comes in between the Earth and the Sun, which blocks all portions of the Sun.
