Guru Sahib regularly organised religious meetings in the morning as well as in the evening.

Guru Sahib converted many people to Sikh religion. The prominent among them were — Bairagi Bhagat Gir, Bhai Sangtia, Bhai Gauda, and Bhai Bhagtu.

Guru Sahib himself preached the message of Sikh religion in different parts of the Punjab.

Guru Sahib debited Sikh preachers to spread message of the Sikh religion to distant places.

• Guru Sahib established 360 centres (gaddis). Some of those centres are still alive.
