HEY DEAR....!!

-bases are in the above 7 in the pH scale while acids are below 7 in the pH scale. 
-Bases are bitter (e.g. baking soda), they usually have no odour, they are slippery, unlike acids which are sticky.
-In water, they are proton acceptors and electron donors. They produce OH.
-Bases taste bitter, feel slippery, do not react with carbonates and turn red litmus paper blue.

hey
some properties of bases are
when they are tested with litmus paper the red litmus changes to blue
bases are bitter
bases react with acid to form salt and water
base solution conduct electricity
example of base : sodium hydroxide which is a very strong base.
