Spherical mirrors have a curved reflective surface. for example, shaving mirror, side view mirror in a car, cosmetic mirror etc. The shiny surface of a spoon also act as a spherical mirror.
Difference between concave and convex mirror.
Concave mirror.
Real inverted and smaller, if the object is very far away from the mirror.
Virtual, erect and enlarged if the object is very close to the mirror.
called as converging mirror.
used in magnification glasses
Convex mirror.
Always Virtual, erect and smaller than the object.
called as diverging mirror.
uses : used as a rear view mirror in vehicles.
