And how can they be formed?
And what happen if only one strangelet comes to the earth or at the sun???

ANSWER :-

ANSWER :-___________________________________

ANSWER :-___________________________________Strange matter, or strange quark matter, is quark matter containing strange quarks. In nature, strange matter is hypothesized to occur in the core of neutron stars, or, more speculatively, as isolated droplets that may vary in size from femtometers (strangelets) to kilometers, as in the hypothetical strange stars.

Grouped together they form strange matter, a perfectly dense, stable and literally indestructible material.

Answer:

Actually Strange Matter Is a very complicated thing. We know that Nucleas of atoms around us is made up of Protons and Neutrons which are in turn made up of Up quarks and Down Quarks. These Protons and Neutrons Are called baryons as they are made of 3 quarks . If any baryon has a strange quark inside it in place of a up or down quark..And is in nucleas..We say it is strange matter.

Explanation:

Strange quarks decay into up and down quark very fast as there life is very short. So strange matter is likely impossible . But if strange quark stayed for long time.It can make strange matter and It can , with exchange of gluons and photons , turn other quarks to strange quark too. Making a spread of strange matter. Strange Matter has very wierd radioactive properties scientist still do not know today. There is a theory saying that strange matter is formed in dense stars like white dwarves and neutron star's core because of high pressure . It is not possible for them to come out ( first reason: High pressure keeps them in  , second reason: They will decay fast ) But some think that if one piece of strange matter ( called strangelet ) comes on earth or sun( which is well also likely impossible as they decay very quickly) and it doesnot decays and starts spreading it can make the whole area of crash into strange bizzare and radioactive matter.

But this all is impossible , as strange quarks decay very fast , in seconds ..So strange matter is impossible.
