sucrose is a type of a simple carbohydrate which is mainly found in sugarcane.it is a compound which is a component of a sugarcane or beet sugar.the molecular formula of sucrose is C12H22O11.this is because of the molecule is a disachharide combination of the mono saccharides glucose and fructose.
