Termites are the wood eating ants that evolved years ago. They are also referred to as \large\color{blue}\textit{White\: Ants} because of their White colour and also they appears somewhat like Ants.

They generally swarm in the Spring. They get their nutrients from cellulose present in woods and plants. Sometimes they also feed on Dead and decaying bodies.
