If I have to select a gift for myself then I would go for S Books and Would love to donate  useful and necessary items to the poor.

Firstly, I would like books because it one's best friend. Books are fun to read. You can not only read it but  share your Personal Secrets with it (Dear Diary) as it will always be beside you in any circumstances and will always be beside you and support you....It doesn't have big mouth like our friends......and will never tell  our secrets to anyone, unless and until we tell them. The main thing is also that "Paper has more patience than anyone in this whole world."

Secondly, I would love to donate useful and necessary items to poor people because U never when you show your small act of kindness can be a big step of success for them. The Main reason is also KARMA- "What you do you get it back."
