Survival techniques for  Mangifera indica

Deep tap root : Mango plant consists of a  long tap root which reaches 6 feet deep .This unique feature of mango let it to survive in semi - drought conditions .

Tough Leaves :Thick outer cuticle on leaves prevent water and nutrient loss.Arrangement of leaves is in alternate fashion to receive maximum sunlight.

Flowers : They produce sweet smell which attract insect pollinators and thus helping in reproduction .

True Fruits  : True fruits protect the seed inside it ,...............although a protective adaption for seed .........mango are a great source of nutrition for many animals .
