Hello,

Gymnosperms have several adaptations that help them survive different climatic conditions. These adaptations are following;

  • They are autotrophic.
  • These organisms conserve water and therefore are photosynthetic.
  • They consist of a vascular system i.e. they have xylem and phloem tissues for the transportation of food and water throughout the plant.

I hope this answer satisfies you.

Thanks for asking.

There are two kinds of seed-bearing plants, gymnosperms or angiosperms.

Angiosperms are, more widespread, and they bear, fruits too.

Gymnosperms have features that help them survive in dry and cold conditions.

These include needle-like leaves which help in preventing the loss of moisture.

They also have naked seeds which allow them to reproduce better.
