we can produce electricity by water.but water level become fallen during day by day so we need a lot of water and a lot of space to produce electricity

The advantage of hydro power plant is that the mechanical (gravitational) energy is converted into electricity. The input energy is free and pollution free. It is naturally available.
Limitations:
It may be difficult to construct the plant at locations where water falls exist.. In many rivers the water levels may not be of required level during summer or winter. So the plant may not function through out the year.
