*AC voltage or current can be easily step up and step down using simple device transformer.

*Rotating magnetic field can be obtain easily, which is most important for Electric Motors.

*Very high AC power can be generated ,transmitted and distributed efficiently.

Advantages of DC :-

*The one of the best advantage of DC power is, it can be stored.

*Using electronic devices DC power can be converted into different signals i.e Digital and analog.

The advantages of AC are the disadvantages of DC and vice versa. Thats the reason we are using both currents.
