What are the advantages of having very thin and highly branched capillaries for blood flow?

adityakjha24: Very thin capillaries facilitates easy diffusion of gases between the tissues and blood. The highly branched network helps the blood to reach each and every minute part of the body.

Capillaries are a bunch of thin blood vessels surrounds organs in our body. They are meant to be thin walled because they have to perform gaseous exchange between cells by taking up carbon dioxide from blood and give oxygen to the cells.

Their thin- walled structure helps them in gaseous exchange throughout the body.
