Desert or sandy soils:They are easy to work and warm up quickly in spring so you can get your season off to a flying start. The texture and fertility can be improved by adding rich organic matter their disadvantages are that they are less fertility, extra irrigation needed.
Alluvial soils are  Very fertile, well aerate and their Disadvantages are that they  becomes water-logged.
Black soils are made up of extreme fine clayey material  known for its moisture holding capacity , rich in calcium carbonate magnesium potash and lime  ,develops cracks during hot weather which helps in proper aeration of soil.
