To find the distances in L shaped paths its hypotenuse is displacement
To find the measures of any sides if 2 sides are known.
Painting a wall needs ladder its height can be found since height of wall and distance on distance from wall on ground is known
Finding size of articles which are triangular in shape..so that no problems can be caused later(computer,tv sizes) to fit in a proper place
