Answer:

the flow must be steady, i.e. the flow parameters (velocity, density, etc...) at any point cannot change with time, the flow must be incompressible – even though pressure varies, the density must remain constant along a streamline; friction by viscous forces must be negligible.

The flow must be steady, i.e. the fluid properties (velocity, density, etc...) at a point cannot change with time. The flow must be incompressible – even though pressure varies, the density must remain constant along a streamline. Friction by viscous forces has to be negligible.

The limitations of Bernoulli's Theorem is :-

1. Bernoulli's equation ideally applies to fluids with zero viscosity or non-viscous fluids.

2. The fluids must be incompressible, as the elastic energy of the fluid is also not taken into consideration.

3. Bernoulli's equation is applicable only to streamline flow of a fluid. It is not valid for non-steady or turbulent flow.

4.It applies ideally to the fluids with zero velocity and non -viscous fluids but not to be viscous fluids.
